We're always told "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" or that "beauty is skin deep" but in the end, a lot of us don't end up feeling very beautiful.
We compare unintentionally compare ourselves to the girl sitting next to us or the model in a magazine.
We frown at our flaws -- maybe that small pimple that showed up this morning or that little pouch on our stomach.
We buy product after product hoping that in some way it'll make us feel beautiful, or at least meet the standards for beauty.
Then we look back and feel guilty for even doing that. It's all a cycle that continues to happen until you realize one thing.
We were made in the very image of beauty, God Himself.
